Perkins High School Graduation is May 25
Perkins High School will hold graduation on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the Firelands Regional Medical Center Stadium. 
Perkins Continues SBC Success in Athletics
Perkins High School wins four of the five spring sports championships in the Sandusky Bay Conference. 
Perkins Athletic Booster Club Drive
This spring the Perkins Athletic Booster Club will conduct the 2013-2014 Membership Drive. 
Perkins Baseball Team Ranked #1 in State Poll
The Perkins High School Boys Baseball team is ranked First in Division II by the Ohio Coaches Association Poll for the second week in a row. The boys are now 23-1 for the season.

Perkins 5th Grade Team Finishes Second In Academic Contest
Meadowlawn's 5th Grade Academic Team finished second in the North Point Educational Service Center's Tri-County academic team annual contest. 
Perkins 6th Grade Academic Team Finishes Second in Tri-County Contest
The 6th Grade Team competed against other teams from Ottawa and Huron counties in the North Point Educational Service Center's annual academic team contest. 
8th Grade Team Wins Tri-County Contest
The Perkins 8th Grade Academic Team won the North Point Educational Service Center's Tri-County contest over teams from Huron and Ottawa Counties.

10th Grade Team Meets with Resource Officer
Ohio Department of Natural Resource Officer, Kevin Good, met with students of the 10th Grade Team last week to discuss Lake Erie and the resources of its watershed. 
Briar 7th Grade Enrichment and all 8th Grade Class Summer Reading List

 This summer, all students entering the 7th grade enrichment English classes and all students entering 8th

grade at Perkins Middle School are required to read one book  from the summer reading list described

below. After reading the book, students will complete three short activities related to the book. These

activities will be used as the basis for class discussion during the first week of school. It is our intent to

expose the students to some current, new young adult literature to promote reading as a pleasurable

vacation activity. The following books may be purchased from local stores or Amazon.com, or for loan

from the Sandusky Library.  

Children's Book Author pays Furry School a visit and a Compliment
Steven Kellogg, author and illustrator of over one hundred children's books, visited Furry Elementary last Friday for Right to Read Week.

We will accept Open Enrollment applications for the 2013-14 school year, beginning April 1, 2013, at 8 a.m. in the Administrative Services Center, 3714 Campbell St, Suite B (south end of Perkins High School).
