Superintendent's Update

Congratulations to the Perkins High School Class of 2017! Commencement was held outside Friday, May 26 at Firelands Regional Medical Center Stadium in front of a large crowd of family, friends, community members and underclassmen. This year’s class had many successes in the arts, athletics, and academics that we have noted throughout the year and have their futures planned. Eighty-eight percent of these graduates will attend college, 6% will enter the military, and 4% plan to enter the workforce. We hope these students find much more success and always know that the Perkins community encourages and is proud of their endeavors.

Our Administrative Service Center will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the summer. The Perkins High School Main Office will also be open, with the exception of the week of July 3-7. Please check the HS office for posted times to have Work Permits processed during the summer months.

As the school year comes to a close, we are already planning for events to start next year. Please check the dates below to assist in your preparations for the 2017-18 school year. More information will follow when we send out our first newsletter of the new year on August 18, and from the individual building newsletters as well. We wish you all a safe, restful and fun-filled summer with family and friends!
