COVID Case Reports

The Perkins Local School District, as ordered by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, must report when a student or staff member tests positive or has a clinical diagnosis for COVID-19.

Weekly Total: One case for the week of February 19-February 25.

Wednesday, February 24: Perkins Local School District was notified that a student Briar Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19.

Weekly Total: Two cases for the week of February 12-February 18.

Thursday, February 18, Perkins Local School District was notified that two students – one at Meadowlawn Intermediate School and one at Briar Middle School – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Weekly Total: Four cases for the week of February 5-February 11.

Thursday, February 11, Perkins Local School District was notified that three people – a staff member and two students at Perkins High School – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday, February 8: Perkins Local School District was notified that a Meadowlawn Intermediate School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, January 27: Perkins Local School District was notified that a Briar Middle School student has tested positive for COVID-19.
Monday, January 25: Perkins Local School District was notified that three Perkins High School students and one Briar Middle School student tested positive for COVID-19.
Sunday, January 24: Perkins Local School District was notified that a Perkins High School student tested positive for COVID-19.
Saturday, January 23: Perkins Local School District was notified that a Perkins High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Thursday, January 21: Perkins Local School District was notified that a Meadowlawn Intermediate School student has tested positive for COVID-19.
Wednesday, January 20: Perkins Local School District was notified that two people at Perkins High School – a staff member and a student – have tested positive for COVID-19.
Tuesday, January 19: Perkins Local School District was notified that three students, two at Perkins High School and the other at Briar Middle School, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Saturday, January 16: Perkins Local School District was notified that a staff member at Meadowlawn Intermediate School had tested positive for COVID-19.


Friday, January 15: 
Perkins Local School District was notified that a Perkins High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Thursday, January 14: Perkins Local School District was notified that two Perkins High School staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, January 13: Perkins Local School District was notified that a Perkins High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Tuesday, January 12:
Perkins Local School District was notified that two students, one at Perkins High School and the other at Meadowlawn Intermediate School, have tested positive for COVID-19.


Monday, January 11: Perkins Local School District was notified that a staff member at Furry Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19.

Thursday, January 7: Perkins Local School District was notified that two students – one at Perkins High School and one at Meadowlawn Intermediate School – have tested positive for COVID-19.
Wednesday, January 6: Perkins Local School District was notified that four students – three at Perkins High School and one at Meadowlawn Intermediate School – have tested positive for COVID-19. Tuesday, January 5: Perkins Local School District was notified that three students and a staff member at Perkins High School have tested positive for COVID-19.
Monday, January 4: Perkins Local School District was notified that three students at Perkins High School and a staff member at Furry Elementary School have tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday, December 21
 – Perkins Local School District was notified that five students – two at Furry Elementary, and one each at Briar Middle School, Meadowlawn Intermediate School and Perkins High School – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Saturday, December 19
– Perkins Local School District was notified that a staff member at Perkins High School has tested positive for COVID-19.

Friday, December 18 – Perkins Schools were notified that a Briar Middle School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, December 16
– Perkins Local School District was notified that a student at Briar Middle School had tested positive for COVID-19.
Monday, December 14 – Perkins Local District was notified of two individuals – a staff member at Furry Elementary and a district staff member – who tested positive for COVID-19.
Friday, December 11
 – Perkins Local School District was notified that three staff members – one at Perkins High School and two at Furry Elementary – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, December 9Perkins Local School District was notified that four individuals – a student at Perkins High School, a student at Meadowlawn Intermediate School, and a staff member at Perkins High School and a substitute staff member at Briar Middle School and Perkins High – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Tuesday, December 8: On Tuesday, December 8, Perkins Schools were notified that a Perkins High School student had tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday, December 7 – On  Monday, December 7, Perkins Local School District was notified that four students – two at Perkins High School, one at Briar Middle School, and one at Meadowlawn Intermediate School – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Saturday, December 5
– On Saturday, December 5, Perkins Local School District was notified that a student at Perkins High School had tested positive for COVID-19.

Friday, December 4 –
On Friday, December 4, Perkins Local School District was notified that two individuals – a Perkins High School student and a Briar Middle School student – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Thursday, December 3 –
On Thursday, December 3, Perkins School District was notified that a district employee and Furry Elementary staff member have tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday December 2 –
On Wednesday, December 2, Perkins Local Schools was notified that six individuals – a Perkins High School student, three Briar Middle School students, a Meadowlawn Intermediate School student and a staff member at Meadowlawn Intermediate School – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday, November 30
– On Monday, November 30, the district was notified that four individuals – a student at Perkins High, a student at Meadowlawn Intermediate, a student at Furry Elementary, and a staff member at Furry Elementary – have tested positive for COVID-19.

Friday, November 27
– On Friday, November 27, the district was notified that a district staff member had tested positive for COVID-19.


Wednesday, November 25:
Today we were notified of a Perkins High School student who tested positive for COVID-19.

Tuesday, November 24:
On Tuesday, November 24, the district was notified that a district staff member had tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday, November 23: 
On Monday, November 23, the district was notified of four individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 at Perkins Local Schools. The cases involve two students, one at Perkins High School and one at Meadowlawn Intermediate School, and two staff members, one at Briar Middle School and one at Meadowlawn Intermediate School.

Sunday, November 22:
On late Saturday, November 21, the district was notified that a Perkins High School student, who attends classes remotely, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Friday, November 20, 2020:
On Friday, November 20, the district was notified that a Briar Middle School student had tested positive for COVID-19.

Thursday, November 19:
On Thursday, November 19, the district was notified that a student at Briar Middle School had tested positive for COVID-19.

Tuesday, November 17:
On Tuesday, November 17, the district was notified that a staff member at Briar Middle School and staff member at Meadowlawn Intermediate School have tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday, November 16:
On Monday, November 16, the district was notified that two Perkins High School students have tested positive for COVID-19.

Sunday, November 15:
On Sunday, November 15, 2020, the district was informed that a student at Briar Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19.

Saturday, November 14:
The district was notified Saturday, November 14, that a district employee, who has minimal contact with students, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Friday, November 13:
On Friday, November 13, Perkins Local School District was notified that three individuals had tested positive for COVID-19. Two of the cases involved students (one at Briar Middle School and one at Furry Elementary) and the third was a district employee who has minimal contact with students.

Wednesday, November 11:
On Wednesday, November 11, the district was notified that a student at Perkins High School and a teacher at Briar Middle School have tested positive for COVID-19.

uesday, November 10, 2020, the district was informed that eight students – seven at Perkins High School and one at Furry Elementary – and five staff members at Perkins High School have tested positive for COVID-19.
 
Monday, November 9: On Monday, November 9, the district was notified that three students – two at Briar Middle School and one Perkins High School – have tested positive for Covid-19.

Saturday, November 7:
On Saturday, November 7, the district was notified that a staff member at Perkins High School had tested positive for Covid-19.

Tuesday, November 3:
On Tuesday, November 3, the district was notified of two positive cases. A staff member at Furry Elementary and a staff member at Perkins High School have tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, October 28:
On Wednesday, October 28, the district was notified that a remote student at Perkins High School tested positive for COVID-19.
Friday, October 16: 
On Friday, October 16, the district was notified that a staff member at Perkins High School tested positive for COVID-19.

Thursday, October 15:
Perkins Local Schools received noticed that a student at Briar Middle School tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, October 14:
Perkins Local Schools received notice on Wednesday, October 14, that a student at Meadowlawn Intermediate School has tested positive for COVID-19.

Sunday, September 20:
Perkins Local Schools received notice on Sept. 20, 2020, that a staff/faculty member at Furry Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19.

Friday, Sept 4:
 
A staff member at Briar Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19. The test results were reported to the Perkins Local School District administration on Thursday, Sept. 3.
