Back To School Bash 2024

The start of the 2025-2026 school year for Perkins Local Schools is just weeks away. Teachers, principals, and staff are busy getting ready for the first days.

Perkins Local Schools is finalizing the rollout of ProgressBook, a student information database for the district to maintain contact information for all students and their parents and guardians, grades, activities and clubs, transportation schedules, and other important information.

ProgressBook will replace PowerSchool as the district’s student information system for the 2025-2026 school year. Please watch for a follow-up email when parent and guardian access to ProgressBook will be available.

Meanwhile, parents and guardians are encouraged to access their students’ FinalForms accounts to update all necessary forms ahead of the 2025-2026 school year.

Also note, that bus schedules have not yet been finalized. Once they are, parents and guardians will be notified to check their accounts for updated transportation schedules. (Perkins Schools does not publicly announce bus schedules to maintain student privacy.)

The 2025-2026 school year for Perkins Local School District students begins on Thursday, August 21, with a staggered start. Please, check your student's building calendars and in the notes below to see when classes begin.

Here is a building-by-building breakdown of everything you need to know to get your Pirates ready for classes on Day 1. (And, don't forget: All Perkins Schools students and parents are welcome to attend the Back-To-School Bash at 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, in the lawn behind Perkins High School.)
