Legal Notice

Sealed bids for the purchase of a school bus as described below will be received at the office of the Treasurer of the Board of Education of the Perkins Local School District, 3714 Campbell Street Suite B, Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio 44870, until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday December 15, 2022. 

Bids will be publicly opened, read, and tabulated with a report made by the Superintendent to said Board of Education at its next meeting, January 11, 2023. Bids will be received with respect to the chassis and body type, and will state that the bus, when assembled and prior to delivery, comply with all school district specifications, all safety regulations and current Ohio Minimum Standards for School Bus Construction of the Department of Education adopted by and with the consent of the Director of Highway Safety pursuant to Section 4511.76 of the Revised Code and all other pertinent provisions of law. Specifications, instructions to bidders and proposal forms may be obtained by contacting Randall Conaway, Transportation Supervisor 419-625-1272 or Perkins Local Board of Education, 3714 Campbell Street Suite B, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems favorable.
