Perkins Softball Coach Resigns

Perkins High School Varsity Softball Coach Scott Dickman announced on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, that he will step down as Head Coach of the softball program. 

During his five seasons at the helm, Coach Dickman compiled a 61-69 record, captured a Sectional Championship, and coached a First-Team All-Ohio athlete. Before his tenure at Perkins, Dickman also served as the head softball coach at Margaretta for seven years and at Western Reserve for one year. 

“We appreciate Coach Dickman’s hard work and dedication to the Perkins softball program over the past five years,” said Brad Watson, Athletic Director at Perkins High School. “We thank him for his time spent working with our student-athletes and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Perkins Local Schools will begin the process of identifying the next head softball coach in the coming weeks.
